India got the support of 72 other countries, and the United Nations General Assembly (#UNGA) declared 2023 the International Year of Millets.
The international year of millet gives a thriving opportunity to:1. Increase the contribution of millet to food security. 2. Increase the global production of millet 3. Ensuring efficient processing, transport, storage 4. Increasing the consumption of millet widely 5. Sustainable production and quality of millet with the involvement of the stakeholders.
We are working to create an exciting event to celebrate the international year of millets and introduce the first-ever Online Poster Competition for schools.
Theme – Millets: The Super Foods
(in your posters highlight the benefits of millets, types of millets, health impact and interesting recipes that can be made from millets or any other creative design)
Who can participate? All Schools, Government, Semi-Government, Government-aided, and Private schools
Open for which classes? Classes 06th to 08th
How to participate? Create a poster (A3/A4 size) on a chart paper or a white sheet and upload the poster online (your Instagram profile) and tag @nayaatara_in . Anyone can upload the poster – student/ teacher/ parent/ guardian.
Mention details like:Name of the Student, Class & Section, School
Winning Prize? Top 3 entries will be awarded by Nayaatara Foundation. Prize will be couriered to the winners after taking their address. Top 100 entries will be showcased on the website and other wider platforms organized with respect to the International Year of Millets
