Training & Capacity Building Programs With Jammu Smart City

Training & Capacity Building (livelihood of the marginalized segment) is an important area to ensure that the marginalized sections of the country can gather basic skills (on-the-job) to perform the assigned jobs better or get vocational training to seek new avenues for employment.

Through a team of our skilled trainers and professionals, we regularly organize training and capacity building programs in the Northern region of the country to provide necessary skills and personal aptitudes for formal employment.

A series of training sessions and lectures were organized for the local dhabas, street food vendors, hawkers and petty businesses in the city of Jammu to ensure that all trainees understand the importance of food safety and hygiene as well as necessary requirements of the Schedule IV guidelines. As part of the project with Jammu Smart City, the vendors were made aware of simple practices that they can adopt to enhance their sales by maintaining hygiene and sanitation, using head gears and apron while cooking and serving food etc. Also, they were briefly sensitized about the use of technology to receive payments from consumers via google pay, paytm etc.
