Nayaatara Foundation is a Delhi-based non-profit non-governmental organization started by a bunch of enthusiasts who are passionate about the health of people and the planet. It was started three years back to conduct a series of campaigns from consumer empowerment to livelihood management as well as training & capacity building opportunities to the marginalized sections of the society including women and children in the form of various campaigns, that are joined by like-minded people who strongly believe in working selflessly for improving our country’s capital.
NayaaTara Foundation is a Non Profit Organisation (NGO) for Corporate Social Responsibility efforts and voluntary commitments with pan-India outreach and widespread efforts, impacting the lives of people across communities. Nayaatara Foundation is registered under Trust Act in Delhi, NCT and has been in operation since last 3 years with projects ranging from training & capacity building of street vendors and hawkers; awareness activities; Eat Right Melas and Walkathons; Food recovery and distribution drives and other meaningful CSR projects.
The efforts, of the Nayaatara team, are focused on various domains like:
Preservation of the ecosystem with areas like managing food waste; reducing plastic waste; increasing green and water areas etc and make people aware about environmental issues through targeted campaigns and through recycling and repurposing of waste.
Training & Capacity Building (livelihood of the marginalized segment)
Provide support in education including awareness on health and nutrition literacy for different sections including children, women especially pregnant and lactating mothers.
Mass Awareness activities.
Nutritional Awareness and fight against micronutrient deficiencies.
Campaigns for citizen engagement through workshops, camps, rallies, walkathons, cyclothons, fairs to mobilize people for their right cause.
Some of our recent projects include engagement with Smart City Jammu and FDA Jammu Municipal Limits to implement various Eat Right India initiatives in the city; training and capacity building of food businesses, street food vendors and other local vendors in various parts of Northern India; Successful execution and certification of the largest Government Hospital as well as Medical College in Jammu City, Execution of Eat Right Mela in Baddi with Mondelez India (Gurgaon Office); Rally for employees of Jammu Smart City; Engagement with Government Schools in Delhi to spread awareness among children through various on-ground activities like cycle rally, walkathons etc. among others.
We are a 12AA and 80G registered company working on various Welfare and Community Engagement projects through CSR corporate support funds. We have been able to channelize sizable resources from responsible corporations, funding organizations and individuals across sections of the society, to help us deliver high impact projects with a good social return on investment.
Our efforts are recognized by various stakeholders and eminent officials at senior levels in various government and non governmental bodies.
